Decorated with handprinted underglaze transfer all inspired by the magical realism novel by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. First read in my 20’s, it marked a very special time and love. This work is the result of rereading in my 60’s - more cynical, still sentimental and hopeful, but painfully aware life is not a fairytale. Each piece comes with its accompanying original sketch.
